Well my friends, here we have a little contribution from my part.
The definition of the Merriam-Webster Dictionary of the term "Free for All"...
We can see that the definition contains the terms "NO RULES"...that means that an arrangement between a group of players could be done unless, of course a rule that define the association of players before the fight has been set. In that case, it will not be a "Free for All" fight...a least at the extent of this definition...
